This article reviews the current status and future prospects of solid-state batteries. The study focuses on the description of the challenges and needs for the technological development of solid-state batteries and the research aimed at solving current and future challenges. Finally, the projects related to this type of technology within the Horizon 2020 programme are reviewed. |
