Abstract: |
A 137.7 m long suspension bridge carries pedestrians and a wastewater pipeline across a 120 m deep valley in Austria. The natural beauty of the site made aesthetics especially important in the design of the bridge. The difficult conditions for erection led to the choice of a suspension bridge with a timber deck; the steel structure is zinc-galvanized. |
