Measurement of thermal action in a solid slab concrete bridge deck and comparison to Eurocode 1 formulationsContinuous and extensive temperature readings obtained during a period of 3 years in an integral solid slab prestressed concrete bridge deck are presented. There are few experimental results for this type of concrete bridge deck. The measured values are then compared to predictions made using the formulation for temperature actions proposed by Eurocode 1. |
