Extension of the office building Junghofstraße, Frankfurt - Visible steel for a fire safe building.The addition of two new storeys to an existing office building in the centre of Frankfurt shows the potential of composite construction. Two major advantages are the low weight and the good performance in a fire. Additionally this project shows the ability to build a complex geometry by using steel and composite structures. |
