Abstract: |
An approximation to numerical calculations of concrete under fire loadsA method of analytical calculation according to the operative regulations: EHE, CPI and Eurocodes of pre-stressed and reinforced concrete, is developed, and its application to other materials and regulations cannot be excluded. Primarily, some basic thermodynamic concepts are shown in order to then analyse, afterwards, the thermodynamic response of sections of any shape and material. A theoretical study is performed leading us to lay out a system of thousands of equations with thousands of unknown results which forces us to a development of a numerical method of solution. On the other hand the mathematics formulas and the contour equations are set up, the range of validity of the solution proposed is also analysed. |
