Seismic retrofit of Ribeira dos Limos masonry arch bridgeThis paper describes the main features of the Ribeira dos Limos Bridge seismic retrofit project. The masonry arch bridge is located in a high seismic region. Seismic retrofit has been designed using a push-over analysis in order to determine an equilibrium point between the seismic demand and the expected structural behavior. This analysis, quite common in new projects, has been seldom used in a masonry structure retrofitproject. |
