Abstract: |
In the paper the issue of modelling of dynamic forces induced by running people taking into account different foot strike patterns is presented. The results of numerical dynamic analyses of contemporary footbridge performed using proposed load models were shown and compared with the results of dynamic field-tests of the footbridge. The presented issue can be used in engineering practice at the stage of assessing the level and acceptability of vibrations of designed or existing (contemporary and historical) structures. |
