Abstract: |
The present paper discusses the active vibration of arch structures on the Optimal control theory. The purpose is seismic response reductions of spatial structures. We try to control the scale model’s responses of arch structures with piezoelectric films. First, a control system is designed with the effect of delay time and noise considered. Then, vibration control tests are conducted with the scale models of arch structures. Finally, we weigh the result of numerical analyses with that of vibration control tests. |
