A new railway station has been built in the Loyola quarter in San Sebastián. This station belongs to the new developments of the underground of San Sebastián. The station is located over a new viaduct which serves to gain for pedestrian a previous railway landfill, and it duplicates the previos unique line. The viaduct is made of two cell steel box girders with a trapezoidal section and eleven spans of 50.4, 21.6, 24, 6x21.6, 24 and 26.4 m. The total length of this railway bridge is 277.2 m. The main span is supported by “V shape” metallic piles with a variable trapezoidal section. |
