Abstract: |
Through the utilization of platform software, VR aided design technology has been researched in the driving vision design for one arch bridge with Mobius-strip shaped rib. Based on the work, VR technology has been proved as an effective method to solve the complex appearance design problems in bridge conceptual design. Due to the assistance of virtual scene established by VR graphic engines, some important decisions could also be made at conceptual design stage. Furthermore, aided by the large-scale immersive VR equipment and the powerful VR graphic engine, the virtual experience design method is creatively applied into the bridge conceptual design. |
