Abstract: Tensegrity systems are lightweight, deployable or adaptive structures. To improve their stiffness, modular tensegrity structures are assembled with the use of strut-to-strut joints and supplementary cables. These concepts are applied to designing the TorVergata Footbridge. This paper presents a revised version of the first preliminary design made in 2003
