Abstract: |
Cooling towers monitoring needs to take care of walls’ deformations and defects. New technologies provide modern tools to produce detailed and numeric visual inspection and geometric surveys. The SCANSITES 3D® was developed to provide, in a multilayer file associated to a database, a high density survey and a detailed inspection. Two case studies show the method’s results. |
