Abstract: |
The roof structure of Qingdao Station is composed of 10 three-dimensional arch centerings, with the plane dimension of 213m×341m and the largest span of 141m. Each arch centering includes one arch, 2 transverse beams, 6 pairs of V branch, 16 cross cables and longitudinal purlins between the transverse beams. Compared with a single arch, the structure characteristics of three- dimensional arch centering are introduced in this paper. As a combined member, each element of the arch centering has different structure effect, such as arch, cable and so on. The significant influences on structure performance by different tensioning sequence of cross cables and different stiffness of the arch foot is discussed. At the same time, how to simulate and check the irregular section according to Chinese Code is introduced as well. |
