Abstract: |
A timber pedestrian bridge has been constructed in Anaklia within the coastal boulevard the length of which is 504,0m. The bridge crosses Enguri River at its mouth with the Black Sea. The bridge is located in the centre of the town pedestrian zone. Pursuant to the location and purpose of the structure a huge importance was paid to its architecture. According to the Client’s instructions, the structure should be of effective architecture and harmonized structure that would become the symbol of renovated Anaklia. The design was done by Georgian (LTD Transproject – General designer) and German (LTD Leonhardt Andrä und Partner, LTD HESS TIMBER, LTD Fast+Epp) engineers. |
