Abstract: A very resource efficient shell construction method called“Pneumatic Forming of Hardened Concrete (PFHC)” was invented at TU Wien. The papers describes a first practical application of the construction method for a concrete shell (event canopy) in Austria on behalf of the Austrian railways (ÖBB).
