Abstract: |
In this study, as a method of measuring the bolt axial force after tightening tension control bolts, the characteristic that the bolt head deforms greatly in proportion to the bolt axial force was utilized. There has been no case in which the displacement of the bolt head was captured by an image and converted to an axial force for measurement. Therefore, this study utilizes this feature to estimate the axial force only from the displacement accompanying the shape deformation of the bolt top during the two stages of bolt insertion, i.e. primary tightening and final tightening to determine from experiments how accurately the axial force can be evaluated. We confirmed that it is possible to detect changes in axial force by measuring the image displacement of the bolt head. |
