| Abstract: | The construction of two footbridges connecting Odra river's islands in Wroclaw is described, the first (Slodowa Footbridge) being a bowstring arch bridge, and the second (Piaskowa Footbridge) being a three-span beam structure. The architectural shape of the structures and their interaction with the surrounding landscape is also presented. |
