Abstract: |
The present paper discusses on seismic resistance capacity of a school gymnasium subjected to earthquake motions in the span direction. Based on the result of elasto-plastic dynamic response analysis depending on various input levels, the values of dynamic seismic performance index dIs and dynamic ductility index dF for fundamental plane gable frame structures and a 3-D full model of gymnasium are calculated. As numerical parameters, critical plastic rotation θpcr of the gable frame structures is considered, and the effects on dF and dIs are investigated. |
