This paper argues for small reasonable shifts towards natural responsiveness and conscious consumption. Great potentials can be found in Evolution Strategies especially in combination with professional computer applications i.e. CAD and FEA. However, the key issue remains a basic design question: How do we organize information interchange and create intelligent design? Claude Elwood Shannon defined a mathematical theory of information that specified the starting point for modern research on AI. Evolutionary Algorithms (EA) display the ability of learning and the capability of combinatorics. Connectionism offers great chances to solve complex problems through Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) that combine soft computing, EA and ANN. The created knowledge-based information system (KBI) has capabilities of solving most relevant problems in structural design that yet are thought of as far too complex for the human brain … |
