Abstract: |
The West Kowloon Station North is the largest civil contract awarded for the Hong Kong Section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link. Located in the heart of Kowloon, the Station will serve as Hong Kong’s international gateway to China. This paper focuses on the iconic station entrance building roof structure construction and the solutions adopted to tackle the complex construction and engineering challenges, to achieve timely construction programme and to deliver successfully the architect vision of this new landmark infrastructure. |
