Abstract: | Treto Bridge, in Colindres (Cantabria), belongs to the N-634 roadway. Opened to traffic in 1905, it has become an emblematic structure serving a high vehicular traffic intensity as well as pedestrian. Rehabilitation works took place in 2015. The works performed were according to a previous rehabilitation project, by Jesús Páez Martinez, dated 1996. Three types of work were carried out: repairs, reinforcements and replacements. The lack of structural uniformity of the bridge as well as the heterogeneity of the materials led to a series of rehabilitation works clearly differentiated according to the different segment types and materials. The different rehabilitation works required the development of very specific operations in an area of a great natural and landscaping value. |
