Abstract:

The forensic engineering investigation carried out to determine the possible causes of cracking in a post-tension concrete slab bridge and the rehabilitation proposed is explained in this paper. The followed methodology includes new technologies making up a complete BIM model in LOD 400 with all the reinforcements and post-tensioning tendons and exporting it to Advanced FEA software in order to analyze and investigate the causes of the cracking.
