| Abstract: | A heavy crane with a maximum capacity of 600 tones was used to install both arches. Each of them had a weight of 110 tones and was installed approximately 60 meters far from the abutment. The steel grillage was installed same way. For that purpose the grillage had to be split into four segments that were hung from the corresponding hangers by means of the mentioned crane. For these processes a group of auxiliary systems was designed, giving the structure an appropriate adjustment capacity, both in geometry and loads, with the idea of developing the installation in an efficient and safe way. |
