Abstract: |
This paper presents the application of the nonlinear static pushover method in the seismic assessment of an existing 50-year-old bridge in Croatia. The paper describes the implementation procedure of the pushover method and its theoretical background. The conclusion on the seismic performance of the bridge is based on the differences between the results of the bridge design according to the old and the new regulations and on the comparison of the capacity curves with the current seismic demand according to the valid Eurocode. |
