Abstract: |
This paper describes the role that should be played by the structural designer in building design. The importance of carrying out design with confidence based on one's own design concepts, without excessive reliance on computers is explained. Also, the thinking of the structural designer and how it was reflected in the design is demonstrated through two design examples. |
