A moderate 68 km/h wind causes oscillations and the destruction of the bridge.

Notes

This bridge has been replaced by another suspension bridge of the same dimensions on the same site. The only fatality of the collapse in a 42 mile/hour wind gust was a dog in car that could not be removed from the bridge.
