Abstrait:

The Xihuahai Bridge is a super large bridge across the Liuxi River. As the control project at the Guangdong section of the Wuhan-Guangzhou high speed railway in China, 94+168+94m rigid frame plan is adopted in this bridge with the total length of 356m, thus it has the largest main span in the world at present. In this paper, based on the full-bridge dynamic model, response spectrum method and time history method are used contrastively to analyze the dynamic characteristics of the bridge and seismic performance. Further, some conclusions could be a significant reference to the similar bridge design in future.
