Paul Revere Williams: Landmark Luminary
Architect Paul R. Williams (1894-1980) was the first African-American member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Known as the "Architect to the Stars", he designed the La Concha Motel, a stunning example of Googie architecture, and its lobby now serves as the Visitors Center for The Neon Museum.
