Wind tunnel test of long span suspension bridge (이순신대교 풍동실험)

Wind tunnel test of Yi Sun-sin Bridge, formerly called as Kwangyang Bridge, was performed at KOCED Wind Tunnel Center, Chonbuk National University, Korea. Main span length of the bridge between two towers is 1545m which is the 4th longest in the world. The purpose of the wind tunnel test was final verification of bridge design against flutter, vortex induced vibration and buffeting.
