Glacier Skywalk
Brewster Travel Canada (Brewster) is proposing to develop a stunning world-class, fully accessible unique viewing experience in Jasper National Park known as the Glacier Skywalk. This proposed development will provide an immersive, interpretive guided experience focusing on the wonder of the unique ecosystem, glaciology, natural and aboriginal history of the Columbia Icefield area in the Canadian Rockies. The Glacier Skywalk, as it will be known, will consist of a 400 metre interpretive boardwalk and a glass-floored observation platform extending 30 metres out over the Sunwapta Valley, that will be accessible to all Canadians and visitors, and regardless of mobility challenges. The Glacier Skywalk will enable visitors to engage with this dramatic landscape in a way that was not previously accessible to the majority of visitors.
