New mega bridge opens to traffic in southern China

The Nansha Bridge, which crosses the Pearl River in south China's Guangdong Province, opened to traffic on Tuesday. The 12.89-kilometer bridge linking Guangzhou and Dongguan, cuts travel time between the two cities by 30 minutes. It aims to improve the traffic flow between both sides of the Pearl River estuary.
