National and provincial arterial highway facilities in China are the places with significant safety concerns and these is a real need to have a practically feasible way to evaluate traffic safety maintenance. The paper establishes the evaluation index system and evaluation model of arterial highway facilities traffic safety maintenance; calibrates the model parameter through AHP; establishes facility data collecting methods and standards; and selects several provincial highways as test section to testify the efficiency of the established model through the relativity analysis of the calculation values and experts’ subjective score values. The results show that this method can provide the basis for traffic safety maintenance of the National and provincial arterial highway facilities. |
