Abstrait:

This research centers on the mechanical characterization of materials, contact surfaces, and material interactions essential for modeling Partially Grouted Reinforced Masonry utilized in Costa Rica. Employing a micro-modeling approach, which necessitates a more extensive parameter set compared to macro or mezzo models, identified around 70 crucial parameters for accurately modeling the behavior of a full-scale masonry wall. The characterization process integrates empirical findings, theoretical values from the literature, and derived properties from pre-existing models. The findings presented herein constitute a valuable resource for the precise implementation of micro-modeling techniques tailored to the unique attributes of this specific masonry type.
