Abstrait:

Three-dimensional numerical models of a single pile-soil system and a bearing platform-pile-soil system were established using FLAC3D to analyze the settlement ratio of pile group (Rs) under vertical load. The main factors affecting Rs were discussed. The results indicate that, Rs decreases slightly with the increase of pile length-to-diameter ratio (L/d), and the rate of decrease becomes smaller and smaller. When L/d exceeds 50, Rs almost no longer changes, indicating that the influence of L/d on Rs is relatively small. Rs decreases rapidly with the increase of pile spacing-to-diameter ratio (Sa/d), while the rate of decrease slows down gradually. Rs increases rapidly with an increase in the number of piles (n). Sa/d and n are two important influential factors. Based on the analysis of various influencing factors, a calculation formula for Rs considering both Sa/d and n was proposed through data fitting, which can provide a reference for the calculation of settlement in pile foundations.
