The Kretek 2 Bridge was built over the Opak River where there is an active fault. According to bore log data and embankment site analysis, there is potential for liquefaction at a depth of 0 - 3 meters. Due to space limitations, ramp of bridge must be able to stand upright. An alternative treatment that can be implemented in this condition is to reinforce the embankment at the bridge ramp with the Mechanically Stabilized Earth Wall system. Analysis of liquefaction potential using the method of Idriss and Boulanger. Analysis of the application of the planned MSE wall was carried out based on the external, internal, and global stability in dynamic conditions in the subgrade after replacing the subgrade in the detected layer of liquefaction potential. The method for calculating the lateral pressure caused by an earthquake uses the pseudostatic method. The MSE wall with soil replacement meets the requirements for external, internal, and global stability under dynamic conditions to be an alternative solution to mitigate liquefaction potential and increase soil bearing capacity and limitation area problems. Reinforcement of friction tie using granular embankment gets good results in the calculation of safety factor breaking, pull out, overturning, and sliding. |
