Linking Past and Future

A superhighway spanning all of northern Greece—linking the port city of Igoumenítsa in the west to Turkey in the east—elevates an ancient trade route to modern design standards. The massive project includes more than 600 bridges, 77 tunnels, and extensive efforts to preserve environmental and archaeological treasures.
