Abstrait:

The management of coal-fired power stations is increasingly forced by law not to deposit fly ashes but to utilize them. This is a worldwide problem. To counteract the increasing shortage of coarse aggregates and to protect the environment, the possibilities of producing artificial aggregates, used in concrete, from fly ashes, granulated slag and portland cement clinker (stimulant) have been determined. For the time being, further investigations are being carried out, in regard to the durability of concrete. Investigations depending on the method of potential measurements for studying the effect of these aggregates on the corrosion of reinforcement are at their primary stage.
