At 248 m tall, with 55 floors above ground and 4 below providing parking for over 1,000 cars, and with 67,500 m² of lettable space, Central Park Tower is Perth's largest and tallest commercial development. The development includes a shopping area at the lower level and park area above the carpark. The crystalline spatial plan of the Tower conceived by the architects commences as a square at the upper levels of the building and increases through the lower levels in four triangular stages, each about 240 m². The net area of the floors varies from 1,800 m² at the lower levels to approximately 900 m² at the upper levels. Each floor level has a counter-floor for the distribution of building services. Other flexibilities include the possibility for tenants to install separate linking stairs between floors and areas where higher than normal live loads can be tolerated. |
