The advantages of well‐prepared BIM tools for interdisciplinary design

This article describes BIM‐related issues. BIM is still a hot topic. Many manufacturers offer their tools to designers. However, not all of them are practical tools that designers will use. Even some will not be accepted by designers. BIM tools should have a number of advantages, thanks to which they will determine their usefulness and practical application in the design and implementation of buildings. The article contains values that should be characterized by BIM tools that will meet the expectations of designers. The article also addresses the issue of the different approach of designers and design offices to BIM tools. The article was created on the basis of design experience and in cooperation with designers.
