Abstract: |
This Part 2.2 of Eurocode 1 is concerned with actions on structures exposed to fire. It is intended for use in conjunction with the fire design Parts ofENV 1992 to 1996 and ENV 1999 which give rules for designing structures for fire resistance. Thermal actions given in the main text ofENV 1991-2-2 are mainly confined to nominal thermal actions. Some data and models for physically based and more realistic thermal actions are given in informative annexes which may be improved by ongoing research. Mechanical actions shall be combined in accordance with ENV 1991-1 "Basis of design" using the accidental combination. |
