| Abstract: | Due to environmental requirements, the structure typology and its construction method have been designed to minimize the impact in the ravine slopes as well as matching with the surrounding landscape. The through arch bridge fits perfectly from both aesthetic and structural points of view. But which makes this structure even more unique is the use of expansive concrete to fill the steel tubes, allowing not to install shear studs in their inner side, being the first time that a bridge with this features is designed and built in Spain. |
