Abstrakt: |
There is huge demand for construction respectively upgrading of road and rail links all over the world. With many such infrastructure projects now being realized on a privatized basis, not only fast construction of the viaduct portion is essential in order to achieve timely completion of the entire project, but also once completed viaducts should require minimum maintenance costs. This paper tries to give an overview on the various methods available nowadays when building beam bridges in prestressed concrete in urban areas. |
