The paper describes the conceptual designs of two stress ribbon footbridges in areas of high conservation value and tourism. Both of the footbridges are designed to be a place of relaxation for tourists but at the same time are subtly integrated into the environment and are not dominant.

The first footbridge has a total length of 126.60 m and consists of two spans of 22.00 + 80.00 m. A minimum free width of the footpath on the deck is 2.00 m. Three viewpoint platforms have been designed along the main span. Prefabricated reinforced concrete elements of the deck will be assembled on four external cables fixed in abutments. Due to the horizontal forces, the load capacity of the foundations has been ensured by ground anchorages in the rock.

The second footbridge has been granted third prize in the competition organized by the local authorities. The footbridge has a total length of 351.00 m and consists of four spans of 65.50 + 80.00 + 140.00 + 45.50 m. A minimum free width of the footpath on the deck is 3.50 m. A viewpoint platform has been designed along the main span. Prefabricated reinforced concrete elements of the deck will be assembled on six external cables fixed in abutments. Due to the horizontal forces, the load capacity of the foundations has been ensured by precast piles and ground anchorages.
