Through study and knowledge of the area and the rapid urban growth of the city, were born essential design ideas for the design of an architecture system in perfect harmony with the site and its natural values. The third footbridge which will be presented is actually at design phase, so has not yet been realized. Since the initial phase of this project as usual we went to esamine the place, looking the most hidden features have emerged the "limit" conditions beyond which our imagination could not and would not dare. The intrinsic characteristics of the watercourse to overhang have dictated the rules of the design. Starting from the respect and the hydraulic safety of this delicate and sensitive site we have designed a recurring geometry, the August Ferdinand Möbius strip, which could represent very boldly and with some little changes in ist performance in the space, a figure around which "moving"the entire structural system that could withstand the secondary elements of support, becoming a point of urban center from which can be developed the functions and meanings of this place now rather anonymous. |
