Extending the useful life of structures can be achieved by proper assessment and innovative solutions for strengthening. Assessment of an existing building structure, located in a seismic zone will take into account the vulnerability under earthquake motion due to structural system weaknesses and specific detailing. Such aspects will be presented, in detail, for R.C. structures. |
