| Abstrakt: | The new movable bridge in Viareggio is a cycle-pedestrian bridge over the Burlamacca channel well fitted in the harbour environment. The steel bridge has an interesting system of movement based upon a gear and a rack rail that permit to reduce the friction of the all mechanism during the movement in a way to obtain a bridge with high functionality and good appearance due to its compactness. |
