A new European Standard on products and systems for Protection and Repair of concrete structures – EN 1504

CEN developed the EN 1504 series of standards covering all aspects of protection, maintenance and reinforcement of concrete structures. These new standard series governs products and systems for protection and repair of concrete structures on a European scale. The national body of rules on maintenance of bridges and other civil engineering structures is to be largely replaced in a gradual process by these group of European standards. Any inadequate specifications in EN standards on the use of building products need to be supplemented by application standards permitting a harmonized use of such products.
