Abstrakt:

This paper proposes the seismic performance analysis method for buckling-restrained brace (BRB) and viscous damper (VD) hybrid vibration mitigation structural system. The dynamic equilibrium equation is introduced firstly. BRB is simulated by bilinear kinematic hardening model and nonlinear VD is used. Their one-dimensional constitutive relations are illustrated, based on which their two-dimensional constitutive relations are derived. The Newton-Raphson iteration is constructed. And it’s combined with Newmark-β step-by-step integration methods, based on which the formulas for calculating the equivalent damping matrix of BRB and equivalent stiffness matrix of VD are derived. Finally, the proposed seismic performance analysis method is validated using 2-story plane frames. And a real super tall building structure is employed to verify the applicability and effectiveness of BRB and VD hybrid vibration mitigation structural system.
