Abstrakt: |
This paper presents a simple model for predicting the transmission of bending waves from one leaf of a cavity wall to the other via a strip foundation. It accounts for both the inertia effects of the foundation and the stiffness of the soil and the results show reasonable agreement with measured data obtained from a small test wall supported on a concrete strip foundation. |
