The Second Mekong International Bridge is aimed to improve ASEAN Highway Network, particularly East-West Corridor. Located at Mekong River, 5 km. north of the city of Savarnakhet on Lao PDR side and 7.5 km. north of Mukdahan on Thailand side, the bridge is financially supported by Ministry of Communication, Transport, Post and Construction Lao People's Democratic Republic and Department of Highways, Ministry of Transport, Kingdom of Thailand. |
